Communications Strategy
The Agency at UF - Social Media Post
My work at The Agency at UF includes a variety of departments. When I'm not doing client-based work for The Agency, I am doing work for their internal teams, including the communications team as their strategist. As a strategist for comms, I am tasked with brainstorming ideas to increase our reach and interaction within our social media platforms.
For example, I pitched the idea of creating an interactive quiz during recruitment season at The Agency. Based on the feedback of people who applied to The Agency and people interested in applying, I saw a commonality of confusion in terms of what role to apply for. Therefore, for this recruitment season, I wanted to make sure our applicants could have a fun way of figuring out where they belong in The Agency by doing a quiz on our social media where certain answer choices correlate to a department.
As a strategist, I helped provide the research and guidelines for how I wanted the social media posts to look like as well as a first draft of copywriting for the actual post. It was really fun seeing the posts launch and seeing my ideas come to life in collaboration with the creative department!
