I was tasked with helping rebrand this newly-found organization in Gainesville, FL called “JiaTing”, which is a traditional Chinese/Vietnamese lion and dragon dance troupe. I developed the brand’s style guide from the fonts, colors, and elements that are typically included in all the graphics on both the Instagram and website. I also designed their first T-Shirt that they use when performing at UF events or external performances.

The colors for the styleguide were inspired by their original logo which is featured on the front of the shirt, I simply added in more dark blues and yellows to complement the turquoise base. I wanted colors and fonts that made JiaTing appear more strong and courageous like Chinese lions and dragons were known for. The bold fonts are symbolic of Chinese calligraphy/handwriting.
