DIG2121 Project
Digital Arts & Sciences Minor - Made with Adobe Photoshop.
For one of my minor classes, Principles of Digital Visualization (DIG2121), I had to develop a few storyboards to learn about the creative pipeline process from the beginning (with a storyboard) to the end (actual film). This is the beginning process where the main focus is on whether or not my storyboards can clearly indicate the basic points of a storyline throughout the frames. Another main point of this assignment was to practice masking and shading.
The first storyboard shows a simple storyline that can be easily conveyed within a storyboard format. It shows a little cute love story between two pandas who stumble upon each other due to a small mishap that might actually be the best thing that ever happened to them.
The second storyboard is actually for my final project for the class. It's based off of a popular Chinese folklore that explains why dragons are always depicted with a pearl. In this story, a young boy finds a pearl with magical powers that protects him from others who want the pearl by turning him into a marvelous dragon.
