DIG3525C: Editing Photography
For my Digital Production Studio 1 class, we were tasked with creating 5 split-photo edits based on the following styles: Rococo art period, Renaissance art period, Daguerreotype portrait, Vaporwave, and Twilight. Using Photoshop, we had to push our understanding of color temperature, adjustment layers, masks, and blend modes, to push a raw image further into the specific art style assigned to us.
This assignment also required us to observe the characteristic traits of every art style to mimic that within our portraits. Focusing on lighting, shading, miscellaneous art elements, paint textures, etc. we had to figure out what made each art style distinct.
Here’s the link to my Behance page for the entire step-by-step process per photo edit.
